Hello and thank you for visiting A Feather and a Butterfly Inc. I’m thrilled you’re here and excited to share a bit about my journey with you.

For most of my adult life, I thrived in the fast-paced world of corporate America. I was the type of person who hit the desk by 6 a.m. and tackled my to-do list with determination, often wrapping up by 2 p.m. My days were a whirlwind of productivity, and working from behind was simply not in my nature. It was all about hustle and drive.

Fast forward to today, and my world has shifted dramatically. Now, I’m a “working” stay-at-home mom with two wonderful children, aged 12 and 9. My days still start early and are filled with activity, but my to-do list rarely gets done by 2 p.m. anymore. It’s been a significant adjustment, but one that has brought me immense joy and fulfillment.

My true passion has always been the arts. With a degree in web design, I’ve always had a creative streak, though it didn’t always come easily. Finding the missing pieces of a puzzle—whether it’s in design or in life—has been a rewarding adventure.

Jewelry making has become my calling. I’ve taught myself everything from wire wrapping to wire knitting, soldering silvers and gold, and incorporating bezels, stones, and unique designs. Each piece is crafted with care, using my hands and a few trusty tools—a gemstone tumbler for polishing and my ever-reliable Dremel, which is used for just about everything!

My approach to creating jewelry is driven by my commitment to quality. I put 100% into every piece, never settling for anything less than the best. I hope you enjoy browsing the items in our store, including the vintage treasures I collect from estate sales—an exciting new hobby of mine.
